Summer 2025

Over the summer, I worked on Probing New Physics Models at the LHC under the supervision of Professor Jon Butterworth at UCL. I used the HEL (Higgs Effective Lagrangian) framework to study how Wilson coefficients such as cHW and cHB influence qqˉ→hZ production, generating events with Herwig and analysing them using CONTUR to compare against existing LHC measurements. During the internship, I also contributed to updating CONTUR 3.1.3 by introducing configuration options to simplify command-line usage, and helped other summer students with W⁺W⁻ boson pair production data analysis.
