I thought of creating this web page when my professor/supervisor told me to note down the things I have done during my project. Since he himself has a cool website so I thought why not and start making my life harder and created this
Circle is probably one of my favourite shapes; it represents perfection, unification, and harmony to me. The name of this website can be understood in two ways: the not-so-literal meaning and the intended pun.
Firstly, the straightforward meaning comes from the stop-motion animated series Pingu, where the main character, Pingu, uses the term “Noot Noot” to express a wide range of emotions — from delight to anger. Thus, Noot in Circle simply refers to the life I go through day by day: full of emotions, but often repetitive work like my research and university study routine. This meaning represents the daily or weekly rhythm of my life.

Secondly, the pun between “NOOT” and “NOT” changes the meaning to something outside my everyday life cycle, like the moments that break the routine. These changes could be random encounters or unexpected discoveries! (Hopefully not another Herwig failed job due to a segmentation fault.) So, the second meaning represents the surprises and spontaneous moments that I’ll share on this website.
All in all, I wish everyone who visits — or doesn’t visit — my website a safe and pleasant day. A thousand thank-yous to those who take the time to read my articles. I genuinely hope that I can bring you a bit of joy or offer a new perspective on something. If even one person benefits from what I share here, then I’m glad I started this.
THANK YOU once again!
