Hi, my name is Michael (Yucheng) Zhang, and I am a BSc Physics student in my third and final year of undergraduate study. I am currently working with Professor Jon Butterworth (probably the nicest professor I’ve met) on my BSc project, “Higgs Physics at the Future Circular Collider,” at University College London.
I’m originally from China and spent most of my early life (before high school) in a small southern coastal city called Huizhou — the same city where the rapper skaiisyourgod/lanlao, the “sushi don’t lie” guy, comes from. Later, I moved to New Zealand to continue my studies and spent four wonderful years in Auckland with my uncle and his family while studying IGCSE and A Level at ACG Parnell College, before beginning my university life in 2023 at University College London.
